For all that you tell me how Republicans can't help me - you haven't explained how Obama will. Really at the heart it - how is he going to be more successful than he was during the last four years. Repubs not helping well they are not going away and I just don't believe that he can deal with them with any success. But thank you for answering my question. I have to hope that things will get better.

Obama’s American Jobs Act contained substantial funding for public sector jobs. If you want to vote for the party that managed to successfully block this legislation and actively advocates for a weak public sector, go for it. It’s not going to get you what you want though: a job.
