Oh - that wealth was “deserved”. Hm; what physical labor did you do or contribute to society in any way that was not derived from your privilege?
There are white people who genuinely do have boot straps. Being white isn’t an automatic in…although it certainly helps. I think the thing that bothers me more is that the same people who are all, “If a member of *insert racial group here* wants to be successful, they should work super duper hard and sacrifice everything to get there, but otherwise they’re not entitled to a dime or any sort of social support, and they should stop whining about how disadvantaged they are because of their race” are also, “I know I’m a B student with average test scores, but in my high school I’m IMPORTANT so why aren’t schools showering me with money?! IT MUST BE BECAUSE I’M WHITE!”
