NY TIMES EDITORIAL: "Republican lawmakers have become reflexive in rejecting every extended hand from the (Obama) administration, even if the ideas were ones that they themselves once welcomed. Under the circumstances, Mr. Obama would be best advised to stop making peace offerings.
