In a just world, all those injured in today’s bombing in Boston would never have to pay another medical bill for the rest of their lives. Speaking as someone who works at a health facility where i regularly have to take money from patients, there is no worse or more alienating feeling than having to ask someone who is sick or injured to cough up cash in order to receive care.
