some of us are expected to pick fruit and vegetables for next to no money and always be hungry under the guise of “being given a better life!” all so that rich people can feed their precious children blueberries and baby carrots while they experiment with a new art style on the kitchen table or practice piano after school.

and that structural imbalance maintains itself throughout life. 

some of us are expected to be paid nothing to do historical research and initial drafts, while those same precious children are now paid modest to extravagant incomes to remarket that work and be called “leaders of the movement.”
