I was going to reblog the image in this post, but honestly, it’s too triggering to have up here. Islamophobia, racism, casual references to waterboarding… you name it, white people are tweeting about it after seeing “Zero Dark Thirty.”

I have a ton of issues with Zero Dark Thirty, and now there’s a new one to add to the pile: it’s justifying people’s existing prejudices against brown people. Thanks, Kathryn Bigelow.

I think it’s depressing that Kathryn Bigelow gets to be the great lady director who breaks glass ceilings and all that. I really, really do.
