Job application asked me to draw myself, but I’m terrible at drawing people. Still not the best but I am super proud of my dashie :3
http://mylittlepony4u.tumblr.comWhat job are you at, that the app asks you to draw yourself D: Your dash is adorable btw lol
As somebody who has helped management pick out potential new employees, after drawing this, I can guarantee that you aren’t getting the job 8I Why would you put a pone on your application!?

As someone with common sense, why would you draw that on your application?
HHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA
man this makes me feel so much better about the time I basically blew an interview by admitting that while I was pretty sure I could work around kids just fine I didn’t really like them
people are looking at this job app and taking it this seriously tho
To be fair, if the application form is in Comic Sans, a drawing of a cartoon horse is probably entirely in keeping with the corporate culture.
Yeah, I was going to point out what Marty said. Also, since they’re asking you to draw something in the first place.
ponies tho
As someone with the actual real-life responsibility of hiring people, I would do at least a phone interview with this person.
I am not convinced I should have the level of responsibility I do.
On a serious note? Asking a job applicant to draw a picture of themself is tantamount to asking their race and gender-both of which are protected statuses and thus TOTALLY ILLEGAL TO ASK ABOUT.
If you’ve got options, this is probably not a company you want to work for as a POC, or for that matter as a woman.
And for all that, you’d better be damn sure I would interview that applicant.
I laughed so hard at the first two bolded items…then had very serious feelings about the third. I wouldn’t even know what to do if a job application asked me to draw a picture of myself, in crayon no less.
