“At the end of the day, I’m no different than the rest of you. I’m frustrated that we haven’t done more the last two years. I’m mad that we are constantly looking up at OU and I do miss BCS games and National Title runs. The difference is, I’m not going to let the disappointments ruin everything. I’m not going to treat 8-4 like it was 5-7. It’s actually been kind of fun going into each week not knowing if we were going to win or not as opposed to guessing which quarter Mack would take our starters out. Maybe if more of you looked at it that way, we wouldn’t be viewed as some of the most spoiled fans in FBS.”

Calling Out The Texas “Faithful” - Burnt Orange Nation
I just hate reading crap like this, berating UT fans for expecting more of their coaching staff than 8-4 seasons and 6-13 for our last 19 conference games. Maybe if we didn’t have the highest paid coaching staff in the country, we’d be totally okay with mediocrity. But Mack Brown gets paid $5.1 million/year to lose all the big games and land us in the fucking Alamo Bowl. I’m sorry, but no. You’re making more money than all of your competition, you should be producing better results than your competition, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the fact that UT fans are extremely disappointed with how little bang we’re getting for our buck.
