There are a lot of reasons why people don’t wear underwear, but the main one, when you’re at an event where you know there will be approximately a billion photos taken of you under bright lights and wearing a form-fitting, shiny evening gown? You’re avoiding visible panty lines. You’re not doing it because it’s tantalizing or because you’re planning to bang someone in the bathroom (or maybe you are, and I’ll come back to that), but because you don’t want the headlines to scream the next day, “LOL DID YOU SEE ANNE HATHAWAYS GRANNY PANTIES/THONG UNDER HER DRESS?!?! On a final note, even if Anne is also going commando for her own personal enjoyment and/or planning to bang someone in the bathroom, I don’t know why that makes looking at her pussy fair game for everyone else.
