I can agree with the comment above. Sometimes people take things too seriously. People do not mean to come off as racist or anything like that. The girl in this photo I would bet doesn’t even know of how it could offend someone. To her it is probably just a cool tattoo. You shouldn’t expect people to know things right away. There are probably many other people who do things that do not follow tradition such as a woman wearing a headdress but probably none of them know that it could be seen as offensive. Do not blame people for not knowing something like that. It’s one thing if it is meant to be on purpose and it’s another thing to not.

God damnit people are too fucking sensitive over things.

So what you’re saying is…if people take symbols of your culture and your religion and use them inappropriately or in a way that is offensive to you, you should just ignore it because you and your culture matter so little to that person that, even though it’s important enough to them they got it tattooed on their body, they couldn’t be bothered to research it and find out what it means? Why get a tattoo of something from someone else’s culture if you don’t give a shit about that culture or the people who are from it?

Furthermore, when you are talking about people and cultures that your people and culture basically all but wiped out, in my opinion, you don’t get to lecture other people on being “too sensitive.”

You expect people to respect someone who ignorantly misuses the religious and cultural symbols of another group, but you have no respect at all for the feelings of the people whose religious and cultural symbols have been misused over and over and over again for no other reason than it’s “cool.” That’s ridiculous and unbelievably callous.
