I don’t really care what your politics are. That is a fucking criminal rate, especially when the rest of us would pay so much more than that and social program funding would be slashed.
A tax rate that low wouldn’t just affect all of us, it would affect every facet of our lives in this country, from the cost of college tuition to health care to housing costs.
I honestly can’t think of a way that would kill the middle class any faster.
