Okay well when I took the PSAT I wasn’t eligible to qualify for any scholarships from the PSAT because I was white. So you can say all you want that I have white privilege when it comes to scholarships, but I call bullshit.
And also, I’m in all honors classes and do you know how many non-white students are in those honors classes? Around 20 if you combine it all together. That’s 20 students out of around 125. That’s less than 1/5. So the next time you say you didn’t get a scholarship because you’re black/mexican/etc., it’s actually because you weren’t good enough.
So let me get this straight. Any time a white person earns something, it’s purely based on merit and race has nothing to do with it, but any time a person of color earns something, it’s because someone is giving them an unfair leg up and race has everything to do with it?
