Principal's meeting with students ends in controversy | kvue.com Austin:
Bastrop Middle School principal Teri Watson called 30 students to the library on Monday.
“The children were called in by name over the loud speaker,” said Katina White-Higgins, the parent of a Bastrop Middle School student. All of them were African-American.
“When they got down there, she found out the issue was about the TAKS scores and the African American population being a low scoring population for that TAKS testing,” said White-Higgins.
This actually happened.
